The Elder Law & Advocacy Center, in partnership with the City of Detroit and the Detroit Public Library, will be continuing of its “Life and Legacy Program” with a new slate of 2025 estate planning workshops. The Accounting Aid Society (AAS) will continue to provide tax preparation assistance at the Main Library throughout the rest of 2025. Free tax preparation can be scheduled for qualifying households making less than $67,000 a year.
